B&C Hair Style

I've been going to B&C for several years now, since I moved to Dupont Circle, and I always try to go to Curtis. The cut is always on point, and Curtis is super friendly and courteous. Great cut for a great price.

Relatively poor haircut. Asked for 1.5 inches off and lost an uneven 3, with poor work in the back. Can't speak to clipper cuts but would not go back for scissors.

Great haircut at very reasonable price. They accept walk-ins, but do take reservations also. I go to Tony.

This place is great, very quick, good haircut, good price. I have had Nick twice and been super happy with it both times.

It's a good haircut for people with short to medium-iish length hair. Do not go here if your hair is any longer. It is like they have a vendetta against anything longer than 4 inches. The first time I went, I asked for half an inch off and the barber held up almost 3 inches of my hair. It was crazy how much I had to talk them down even after telling him it had only been a month or so since my last haircut. The second time, I walked in and almost every barber exclaimed(!) that my hair was too long. That time I had a different barber and they did the exact same thing. But this time she did not hold my hair up to show me beforehand. She went right in and took off a huge tuft of hair three inches long. I was dumbstruck.

Anyway, actually a very good haircut in the end but not at all what I intended for. Friendly warning for my longer length fellas out there.

I had gone to B&C to get my haircut back when I lived in DuPont, and before COVID lockdown. With COVID lockdown, I stopped going out to get my haircut, and by the time I felt comfortable going out I'd moved to a different neighborhood. Tried for about a year to find a new barber closer to home, before realizing nothing would compare to the level of service at B&C.

Coming back, I got my hair cut by Tony, and he did such a FANTASTIC job. I have a sensitive scalp that can be irritated with skin fades, and he did such an impeccable job that I've had absolutely no issues. The haircut itself looked incredible and gave me such a confidence boost. To add a hot towel massage at the end was truly the cherry on top of everything.

Highly recommend to anyone in DC. If you're in the neighborhood there's no excuse not to go, and if you're a bit more far flung it's well worth the commute.

Never in my life had this happened. I had to put Neosporin on it that's how bad it was.

I've been coming here on and off for years, but I'll never go back now. Totally unacceptable.

I come here weekly and I have a great experience every time ! The Price is right & you get a hot towel at the end !

Make sure you get one of the women to cut your hair. They are much much better. The different men I've had have all been pretty sloppy / bad at following instructions
